Punta del Sol Mangrove Sanctuary (Talikud Island)

One of Talikud Island’s treasures – PUNTA DEL SOL MANGROVE SANCTUARY.

Talikud Island Mangrove & Beach Resort is located in Mansod, Brgy. Dadatan Talikud Island.

A view that will surely give a calming and soothing kind of feeling to anyone.

High Tide.

With its picturesque view .

A real escapade from the hustle and bustle of the city.

The “Gaya-gaya” Pose.

Meet my “Serious Buddy”.

The resort has more than to offer aside from the white sand and clear water, and it is, of course, the food.

We were served with:

  1. Buko Shake (Php 70.00)
  2. Kinilaw (Php 250.00) – good for 5 persons if ‘di ka katakawan. hehehe
  3. 1/2 kg Buttered Chicken (6 slices for Php 250.00)
  4. Bam-e or Bihon Guisado (Php 250.00)
  5. Rice is Php 25.00 per serving

Bilib ako sa sarap ng Kinilaw nila. Sarap ng timpla.

Wala kaming photos during our dinner, sobrang gutom na, ‘di na namin nagawang mag picture taking.

Good for 3-4 persons yung order. (Nagkasya nga sa amin that time eh, we’re 5 in the group.)

  1. From Santa Ana Port (Davao City),  sumakay ng commercial motor boat bound to Sta. Cruz Wharf, Php 80.00/head;
  2.  From Sta. Cruz Wharf, sumakay ng single motor (habal-habal) at magpahatid sa MANGROVE SANCTUARY.  Fare is Php 40.00
  3. Kung pauwi ka na ng Davao, you can arrange your schedule with their staff, either sumakay ka sa resort motor boat bound directly back to Sta. Ana Port, or magpapahatid ka sa Sta. Cruz Wharf para sumakay ulit ng commercial motor boat bound to Sta. Ana Port.

Entrance fee (day tour) – P100.00

Overnight fee – P200.00

Tent area fee – P100.00

For those who would want to stay overnight, may mga rooms sila. (I don’t know the room rates, kasi nag tent lang kami that time. Natanong ko staff nila if magkano pero I forgot. hehehe) At present, the resort is still expanding to extend and improve its accommodation services.

Feel at home kami during our stay sa resort. Very accommodating yung mga staff nila.

Thank you kay Ma’am Araceli L. Ayuste of Punta del Sol Group of Companies and President of Samal Tourism Council. Na-meet ko sa office nila. Thank you po sa help.
